Pooka

Pooka is a gentle soul who just wants to be with his person.  He's the very definition of "in your pocket."  He's a lap snuggler who is doing very well with his leash, housebreaking, and basic training parts of life.  He's wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children.  He travels beautifully in the car, and wears his coat and harness without fuss.  Being a puppy with no hair and no fat, he needs his coat...otherwise he's the saddest little shiver in the yard.

Pooka is very smart and very curious.  Combined with a coonhounds desire to climb, this means puppy proofing will have to go literally above and beyond.  He figured out how to get onto the table that his foster family has a fishtank on...he's a clever one!

Because Pooka experienced human cruelty before being rescued, he does have a small deformity to his skull, but it doesn't seem to affect him at all.
